With over 10 years experience in arts management, Nicky brought a wealth of skills and knowledge to Firebird’s ARTWORKS project. She has successfully devised and developed major creative programmes focusing on regeneration, gaining a broad range of funding, including European and Central Government monies.

Over the years she has delivered a wide range of participatory arts ventures, working with all ages and abilities on visual arts projects.  Nicky herself is a successful textile artist and enjoys delivering workshops and presentations throughout the UK as well as working on design projects, gaining a real sense of enjoyment from sharing her creative practice with others.

Nicky moved on from ARTWORKS as Project Manager in April 2009 to concentrate on her work with Creative Partnerships and as a freelance visual artist.
