Following the original Enough Space for Everyone project last year, Paul Griffiths returned to Leicester this May to lead a short follow-up residency with special needs participants. Once again the subject matter inspiring the music was space and space travel, but this time very much focusing on our near neighbours - the planets of the solar system, including the earth! With the Richard Attenborough Centre and the National Space Centre playing host to the rehearsals and final performance, the participants proved their worth as musicians by composing some truly extraordinary, atmospheric and evocative music. Our thanks as always goes to the the hosting venues, and Leicester City Council for providing the participants.
