This year The Firebird Trust celebrates its 25th birthday!

 Our new patron, Cellist, Matthew Barley very kindly offered to perform for us with pianist Julian Joseph.

The evening event on Spetember the 10th was held at the Djanogly Recital Hall at the University of Nottingham.

 The evening was very well attended with lots of past directors, musicians that have worked with Firebird in the past and currently, friends of Firebird, participants and representatives of various organisations such as the arts council and new perspectives in attendance.

 Matthew and Julian performed a fantastic selection of their music including pieces off their new album - click here to hear a sample!!!

 As part of the decor for the event 4 posters were made up by designer Katherine Hodson including text from past Directors Sybil Burgess, Stuart Bruce and our current CEO Simon Steptoe.
