The initial meetings for KOMPOSIT have now taken place. Over 50 people attended and were able to clarify questions they have about the project, put forward ideas and generally show their enthusiasm for this new initiative.

Taking place at the Palace Theatre in Newark and hosted by Jo Freya, the mastermind behind the project, the meetings took the form of a number of smaller group discussions - exploring what KOMPOSIT actually is, and what it is not etc. - before opening up the whole meeting to discuss practicalities, forthcoming projects and other potential areas of work.

Firebird's Executive Director, Simon Steptoe, also gave a brief presentation explaining Firebird's stewardship of the project.

The meetings went very well and generated lots of interesting ideas; certainly everyone was buzzing with excitement by the end of the day. If you would like to read the full report, following this link.
