With an MA in Arts Policy and Management, Emma’s background lies in drama education, with experience as a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Initial Teacher Training.
Her various research projects and scholarship awards have taken her to New York and to Merton College, Oxford, during which time she undertook research in support of doctoral studies. A scholarship award by the Anglo-Daiwa Foundation gave her the opportunity of conducting small scale research into training models for drama teachers in Japan. She has designed and successfully delivered a series of CPD courses for educational establishments and currently acts in a consultancy role for Creative Partnerships within the East Midlands. Her specialist area is creativity and continuing professional development.
