On 14th February 2011, staff and artists from LOAA got together for another of our signature speed-networking events to explore new approaches to delivering arts in Lincolnshirecommunities and to raise the profile of LOAA's work. Lots of fascinating ideas went into a £25Kproposal to the main Lincolnshire One Steering Group. Will we get the money? We'll let you know!
LOAA is partnership of professional arts organisations operating under the Lincolnshire One banner consisting of: Arts on the Map/Lincolnshire Open Studios, artsNK, Beacon Arts, cfBT - Schools Improvement Service, Design Factory, Firebird Trust, JazzPac, Lincolnshire Dance, Lincolnshire Music Servce, Soundlincs.

We were delighted that Leo Nolan was able to return a couple of weekends ago to run one of our MUSICOM sessions. Focussing on delivering percussion workshops with infants and lower primary school children, Leo ran a training day for local musicians on Sunday 27th March 2011... followed by a hands-on workshop demonstration day in Navenby Primary School.... a local village school up the road from our office.
We've got some footage of the training and we'll be posting this within the next few days.
