Following the original Enough Space for Everyone project last year, Paul Griffiths returned to Leicester this May to lead a short follow-up residency with special needs participants.
Based on an original idea by world-renowned cellist, Matthew Barley, and generously funded by the Clore Duffield Foundation through their Small Grants Programme,Enough Space for Everyone was a ground-breaking pilot project that brought together the muscians of Matthew's group Between the Notes, astronomers from Leicester University, young people from mainstream education and special needs sectors, to explore the idea of space and use these experiences as inspiration for the creation of new and exciting music.
